So today, even though I have yet to check off my list long list of to-dos, I wanted to take a couple minutes to write this blogpost.
And this picture that I took a long time ago and which I took with my iphone4s in 2011 and which I stumbled on when I was clearing up my hard-drive was the proverbial last straw that broke my back, and allowed me to indulge myself a little with this blogpost.
Back then I was living in Los Angeles and one of the things I loved the most about living in America were the open roads and the long drives. This is a picture I snapped on an 8 hours long drive – there was a bend in the road and it opened up to a bay of water soaking up the sunlight that was peeking through the clouds.
My heart and mind coalesce in moments like these, and I am completely mesmerised by the beauty that God brings into my consciousness. There is an openness in my heart and mind when I gaze upon this… I’m taken back into that moment … freedom, no cares, no fears, just resting and bathing in His love and provision for me.

So, I think what moments like that take me to is OUT of a problem-solving mode of thinking into a perceiving, accepting and receiving mode.
And I love that.
Which is why I take make sure that I populate my environment and my social media feeds with things that inspire and which help me to ascend in my thinking.
I shared on instagram the other day this little post on Glimmers that I saw:

A couple people reached out to me to tell me that they really appreciated this sharing and I felt led to write a post about this.
What are the glimmers in your life? What makes you smile and lights you up? These are things we need to continuously invite and incorporate into our lives on a regular basis.
I have been quite a cynic (in innumerable ways) for most of my life, but at heart, I think I’m really a romantic, and surprisingly I’m not afraid to admit that.
I think this is probably the first time I have openly admitted this.
Look for the glimmers folks!
